The location was perfect, offering peaceful surroundings and stunning views. Our host, Cho, was exceptional in making us feel welcomed, despite the language barrier. He went above and beyond, even helping us change a flat tire. the room was comfortable and clean, and the property was conveniently situated just a short walk away from the village. a fantastic experience with a friendly and accommodating owner. Cons: Everything was fantastic! 😊.

The breakfast was excellent, the location was convenient. The great view from the hotel on the lake. Such a PERFECT property - within short walking distance to everything. We loved to have evening drinks at Tin Plate Kitchen & Bar, based nearby.

Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with heated floor and fluffy towels. Tea making facilities, microwave, and cutlery provided in the room. Lovely and varied breakfast served around a communal table. Friendly and accommodating hosts.

The unit was spotlessly clean, the couple who ran the place were very friendly and obliging. Breakfast was fit for Kings and Queens with a choice of cereals, bacon and eggs, mushrooms and tomatos, and the aroma of freshly baked home-made bread. Only sad that we only had one night to stay.

The owner of the house was a couple and very nice. The cookie is delicious and the white little puppy is so cute, always asking me for milk and food ....

Steve and Jenny's home is beautiful with top quality finishing and fixtures. There are breathtaking views of the lake, mountains and surrounds from nearly every window. Their home is elevated about seventy metres from the lake level and the views are spectacular. Steve and Jenny are lovely people, with a love of people and a very interesting history with working on their farm and also hosting as a farm stay before retirement and then setting up their wonderful bed and breakfast in Tekapo. Not to be missed.

We had a fantastic time at this accommodation. the room was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the area. the staff, although not fluent in English, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us using a translation app. a great experience.

We felt very welcomed during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

it was just a shame that the couple next door were very rude and kept us awake until the early hours of the morning, arguing, shouting and using bad language. i feel that maybe they should have been asked to quieten down in respect for the other guests staying there.

I absolutely loved the views from our room! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was nice, spacious, and comfortable even though it is across the hall. It was very private so it was easy to relax as well. A beautiful location and comfortable facilities.

On the website I thought it said we could use the kitchen but when we got there I got the feeling that it was strictly off limits. The hosts of the B&B were very nice but could be a bit more informative about the facilities and the use of the house.
